plastic guide for gear cable

im talking about one of these

i removed the old one when i replaced the bottom bracket to a cartridge type when i built the frame up as a single speed.
i now want to rebuild the bike with gears so need to replace the plastic guide, can it be glued on? or do i need to replace the bottom bracket so it can be screwed/bolted to the frame?

Just screws into frame from underneath no need to remove bb as long as screw isn't too long.
