100km Audax Saturday morning - early afternoon. Fit a shower that I didn't get around to last week. Have a go at getting my flame thrower to maintain pressure in the fuel tank.

I think it'll be a quiet one; came down with heavy cold and a bit of a throat at the start of the week and I think I've got rid of 80% of it; its a shame too as the weather looks OK for the weekend. I might get out on Sunday for a leisure ride with SPOKES.

Son has come home with a stinking cold. Usually it's lovely to have him home, but I am still trying to get rid of a chest infection from just after New Year. Hence I shall be practicing barrier nursing all over the weekend until he goes back to London!

Out for a couple of sherbets tonight. Packing for holiday Saturday, quiet day Sunday, fly to Bavaria Monday morning 7 days skiing.

Tonight: early to bed.
Saturday: Up at silly hour get taxi to airport and fly to Inverness. Hire big van and drive to friend's house, load up all their belongings and drive back down to mine (hopefully before midnight) for a sleep.
Sunday: Drive truck over to West Yorkshire, unload van into friend's new house and return home.
Return van to depot in Manchester on Monday morning before going to college.

Erm..... car re-MOT'ed tomorrow am....out on bike PM. Son at pool party at tea time.
Sunday - might take the family down to Albert Square to see the Chinese New Year celebrations - 12.30pm Parade kick off in Albert Square, 6.00pm fireworks in China Town - probably won't last that long as it's going to be COLD !!!
