Planet X Saddles

I've been trying out some different saddles and Planet X are selling one for £20. Has anyone tried it out?

It works well for me, I have these on all of my bikes. It's a little like a Fizik Arionne. Saddles are personal things though, so it's difficult to go on anyone's advice

How has it held up? IME Planet X stuff is great at the start but wears down quickly.

I've got one but I've only ridden it for about 250 miles so I can't say anything about its durability but I like it - fairly long and narrow.

Not what you originally asked but my Planet X wheels have lasted great; they are 7400miles old; I removed them before Flanders as a precaution but they'll be going back on come winter. Clothes-wise, I have their socks, overshoes and gloves, it to early to comment on their durability, however.

My Planet X gloves have started forming holes after 3 months and my cap arrived and there were threads hanging off and the logo was off center! Both of my lights stopped working and I've had no luck contacting Planet X as they won't respond to my emails.

Bummer; I used the gloves for the first time today, I'd hope they'd last longer than that.

The gloves are great for £5 and I'll be buying another pair for next winter but like you said, I wish they'd last longer.

I bought one of their cheap line 'carbon' seatposts, when I placed a return order their staff rang me and in their credit the staff member told me they had a high failure and if I wanted a decent seatpost to pay top whack for a better model - I got my refund so cant complain.

I have two of the planet x saddles - they are Fizik Arione copies.

OK saddle until you ride for any length of time. Have now got an Arione and it is a lot better for longer runs.
