I've no experience of them my self but my mate put them on his bike for winter and hasn't complained.

Ok - anybody use mavic open sport rims on shimano 105 hubs - any reviews on these wheels would be appreciated

I bought a pair of these as I noticed the front wheel rim surface on my commuter was looking ahem concave. Not put them on yet but comments so far :-
Delivery - exceptional - they send you a text message with a 1 hour slot in which the delivery will be made. Why cant all delivery companies work this way!
the second thing I can comment on is that they run very smoothly - will install them on the bike soon so can comment more.
Have had model Bs too for about 18months - they've been great.

I rode Open Pros on 105 hubs almost exclusively until middle of last year. Don't know about the Open Sports, but the Open Pros wear a little quickly for my taste. The hubs are not as smooth as they were either (despite replacing the cones & bearings). The Planet-X wheels are sealed bearing hubs - which may not suit everyone.

Just spotted P-X have DT Swiss RR465 rims at half price....put those on the best hubs you can afford.
