Planes and bikes!

Hi, I'm hoping to fly to India to do a coast to coast ride but my only concern is packing the bike for the journey back, I know I can use box/bag but acquiring one of these in india close to airport I have no idea how much of of problem that could be, I know it's all part of the adventure but just wondered if anyone has done this and has any advice?

I doubt if you will have any problem getting the bike packed. The Indians are very adept at making do and mend. They will sort you out.

Returning from Bulgaria I could not find a bike box and so I bought a cheap double duvet and put my bike in it. I taped it up best I could and had it cling filmed at the airport. It worked a treat.
