My Goal for this year is to save up enough money to buy the Planet X SL Pro Carbon Elite.

However, I have never ridden a Planet X bike, what are they like? I've heard the frames have a bit of flex in them, is it really noticeable?

I ride a 56cm Allez frame, would that be equivalent of a large PX frame?

What does yours weigh?

Finally, is the bike really worth £1500?

Cheers

personally i wouldnt buy 1 as i think there cheaply made and overpriced and that you can get a far better frame for the same money. i would personallty stick to well known frame makers who have been in the business not only a long time but are pumping money into research and development i.e. trek, specialized, look, time, cervelo, bmc, bianchi etc to name a few.

Nice bikes, but a bike is only as good as its base components ie the frame/wheels. The sl pro carbon elite uses the same frame as the sl pro carbon comp:which you can get for 999 if you go for the sram groupset option.
The planet X is a budget frame, i'm not saying its not a good frame, but it is a budget frame. So if you are going to spend a lot on a bike, make sure its got the best frame you can afford.

and you can get a lot of bike 2nd hand at that price!
