Got my Pinarello in August last year and have been happy with it since. I'm only an "entry level" Pinarello owner with an FP1 but it's been a great bike so far.

I was wondering, since I don't see many posts here on on some of the other popular cycling forums regarding Pinarello's, are they that popular in the UK?. I've never seen another one on the roads up here in my neck of the woods.

The whole reason I'm asking this is because my part time business is web developing and I was thinking of starting a website and forums for UK Pinarello owners and wanted to suss out some interest.

Any other Pinarello folks out there?. ;)

I purchased my 1st Pinarello about 10 years ago and never saw another bike i would swop it for until last year when i bought myself a F4:13
The paint job on my old bike was just amazing and until the day i sold it (to a workmate) i still loved that bike.Although the new one is just AMAZING and now i feel like i did with my old bike.I wouldnt swop this for anything.

Ive seen a few around the Manchester/Oldham area although thats probably because Surosa Cycles where i bought mine tend to sell a few.I did the Manchester to Blackpool ride yesterday with what must of been 9000 riders and probably only saw 3 maximum compared to 30+ Trek's.

Im originally from Norfolk and in the 10 years i had my 1st Pinarello i only ever saw 2 others.

I saw a bloke on an FP1 or an FP2 in Clifton a couple of months ago, he turned his head when I commented to my friends "ooh a Pinarello, very nice"

My colleague has just bought a Paris... full to the tilt with bling gear (Fulcrum racing Zero's, SRAM red even an £80 carbon bottle holder). She is also a web developer and am sure she would love to help!

Dammnit you've got me looking at Pinarellos now!

The FP1 in black looks so amazing. But for it's price, I'd expect a little bit better than Shimano SORA =x

Agreed, there are better specced bikes out there for the price, but I think the heart overules the head when it comes to purchasing a Pinarello sometimes.

2008 FP1's came with Tiagra, they must have changed to Sora for the '09 bikes.

Cool, well, if I decide to go ahead that would be something I would keep in mind. I would also be looking for webstaff to admin the forums, Pinarello owners would be good for this although not essential. ;)

When my wife got her Pinarello, it came with Campag Chorus. The shop told her that the next year's model would have Shimano - just so wrong in so many ways.

Off topic but in a similar vain. Does anyone here have a Litespeed bike? Absolutely beautiful titanium-framed bikes.

I've only seen one on the road, buzzing down Whitelady's Hill in Bristol.
