Pidcock Relegation?

I'm sure I read that he's unlikely to do cross this season so he could have not done cross with Ineos anyway. Perhaps it's the MTB thing but what are the wages of the top MTBers ? He wasn't VFM at Ineos and he had to go somewhere and probably didn't have many options.

With the weather and my persistent cough putting the kybosh on todays plans I've been mooching around the web.

Q36.5 were founded last year out of the ashes of the Dimension Data/ Qhubeka/ NTT, although I think they are a new team not really just a sponsorship rename. They ride Scott bikes. Their sugar daddy seems to be Ivan Glasenberg, a South African mining squillionaire, who may (or may not) have bought Pinarello earlier this year or last year or something. Ineos' deal with Pinarello finishes next year so some people are speculating that Q36.5 could end up on Pinarello. Pidders may have some personal Pinarello sponsorship too which complicates things a bit. Some people say that he'll continue to ride Pinarello MTBs, but obviously Scott team bikes in road events.

He was one of their most successful riders whilst at Ineos. Look at his Palmares. Ineos are too focused on road titles.

Not really that much of a surprise with the current state of Ineos.
He will ride on Scott bikes in road races and on Pinarellos in MTB and cyclocross races next season.
Just a matter of time before Pinarellos all round for Q36.5 ?

Let’s hope the team gets some wild cards, they’ll be missing out on big races where Tom could do very well given the chance.

Tom Pidcock tells BBC he will not ride the 2025 Tour de France
By choice or no invite ?

Probably no invite.

The only non WT team currently on the list is Lotto, according to https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/tour-de-france/2025/startlist (which may or may not be accurate)

This is why I think he will win a few races that he will target as he doesn’t have to think about the TDF.

I think the 4(?) wildcards for the Tour get announced sometime this month. So maybe Pidders has been tipped the wink that Q365 aren't going to be in, or maybe he's just decided on his plans already.

Lotto, Tudor, Q365, IPT, UnoX ... who else is likely to be up for it that I've forgotten?

I think Lotto and IPT already have a place and there's a couple more spots up for grabs ?

I think that Tudor having French heartthrob Lolou, and UnoX having Abrahamsen who really animated last year would put them ahead of q36.5. But it's probably much more complicated and mysterious than that in real life.
