Photo upload location/exif data

Hi! Quick question, if I upload a photo to a post, does the forum remove the exif data or location data?

I only ask, as I know phone photos retain a lot of data and while I don't have an expensive bike, for those that do, photos potentially give away their location which is a bit of a security risk!

Make a copy, remove all data from data it, then post the copy.

As far as I know, the forum's software does not retain location data, not like Strava or a phone would.
I'll tag @Shaun, CC's owner and IT manager, for confirmation.
However, the location on a photo can often be guessed by looking at the photo itself!

It's an important question.

I just checked... I had already denied the location permission on my phone's camera app, but many people may have left it enabled on their device.
