Photo file size.

Ok i have been trying to put more pictures in my album and into threads.But i get error, file too big.Now i can shrink them by using Shrink Pictures for free.But to save me time what is the best size this site will accept.ie 250 x 250.

It's not the pixel size that is limited - but rather the physical file size.

The files cannot be any larger than 1MB (or 1024Kb).

If you're having a real problem getting them on, email them to me and I'll add them for you

Thanks Admin.Just been fiddling and got a new photo into my album.

I have the same trouble if i try to upload photos that were taken with my Canon camera but its fine when i upload photos that i've taken with my little Kodak camera

But i totally understand that the larger the photo thingys the more money it cost's .. so im not moaning

If your canon has a bigger image sensor then it will create a larger photo which holds more detail and in turn creates a bigger file size. My phone camera takes photos that are around 1.5mb, where as my 18mp canon will take photos that are 10x that size.
