He's good isn't he? Excellent ride yesterday, seems to carry form all through the season. A very impressive rider who seems to do the bulk of the work on his own.

He's an absolute hero. Always times his form to perfection, and doesn't seem to understand the concept of not riding a race to win it. For me the question of the past couple of years has been saying who's the best best out of Contador, Cancellara and Gilbert. Contador may be on the way out, although Nibali is well on the way in. For this year I'd say Nibali because besides the Vuelta he really was good enough to beat Basso in the Giro and his team should have recognised that. But any which way, Gilbert is exciting like few riders are, and definitely turning into an all-time great of the classics.
