Peugeot PH8

i recently received a vintage Peugeot PH8 from a neighbor as a gift. the bike is is great condition. i have put around 30 miles on it and the more i ride it the more i like it. it feels like a good quality bike to me. he told me that Peugeot bikes were the rolls royce of their day. just wanted to see if anyone had any more info on this particular model. and also i would like to see if anyone has any opinions about the quality of Peugeuot bikes. thanks

I love Peugeots. Own a UO-8 and a later HLE. Neither are their high end models but both ride beautifully.

The only issue with pre-1980s stuff is the French threaded parts which can be tricky to track down if you need them.

i see. yeah it sure is a heavy bike but it is nice to ride. there definitely isnt any plastic parts on it. made to last!
