Need for steeds
firstly thanks to @biggs682 for the tip on this one. It's a real cracker. Gentleman who I bought it off says it was his dad's and he brought it over from South Africa. Circa 1985 seems pretty light running suntour cyclone gears, solida crank, clb brakes. Loving the retro leather bar tape. Might be a keeper for the collection but who knows.

Needs a clean and polish and check all the cables, pads etc.

Managed to finish this with new tubes and tyres. Not sure whether to keep the black saddle or swap it for a white leather sportier saddle.

Also wouldn't buy white tread tyres again, they are already dirty

A nice looking thing, the original black/amber wall tyres looked better, shame about the white tread of the new ones.

@Tony Raynor i keep coming back to your Pug and it makes me thing so many people out there just do not appreciate a good bike when they see one

ok you could say its a bit newer than normal but either way its a nice bike
