Peugeot BB

I am interested in this frame (maybe). Can anyone tell me if Peugeot bottom brackets are standard English thread, and are there any other threading oddities I may come across? I am looking at this one, although it may go beyond my meagre budget by listing end.

I'm confident that frame will be a standard English threaded BB, but it will also probably have a 24mm diameter seatpost.

This is not a problem is A) the post is long enough for your adjustment, B) is not seized, or C) you want to change it.

They are available, but you do have to search and you also have to pay through the nose for one as well.

Thanks Smokeysmoo, very good link with plenty of useful information. Whether I will go for it I will have to decide later, or I may be better waiting 'till something else a bit more universally compatible comes along.

Is the bike listed under Vintage Women's Fragrances and if so what were you looking for?

That HLE Premiere was made from the French equivalent of Reynolds 501 - ie pretty heavy gas pipe tubing.

Not recommended.
