Peugeot 531 Super Competition

Been looking out for an 80's Peugeot with Reynolds 531 for a while so could not resist this.

Not convinced it's a real 'super competition ' model but its near enough.
.

No id sticker but there is a frame number stamping on the bottom bracket. Forks are stamped Reynolds 531 butted on the steerer .

Not sure re what it will be built with so watch this space.

Current thought is a set of exage mechanism's and lever's with a 600 crankset , tubs and sprints . Then I need some calipers .

exage is fine for this kind of build , i am not into throwing loads of money on a build only to find i dont like it , would rather stick with basic stuff that works and i can afford

@Chappy it's not been touched since arrival but trying to use parts from the parts bin rather than buying any.

10 weeks later and the build is starting with some fresh grease applied to headset and bottom bracket so hopefully should be mobile in a couple of weeks depending on other jobs and builds
