England : Cornwall Penzance festival of sport

Have been hearing of this for a month or so, only just got around to checking it out!

anyone doing this? 2 distances 100K and 150K all for under £40. ive been off the bike more than i'd have liked so probably wont be getting involved. Also cornish residents get 20% off entry into it so £28 for the 100K if you live in the cornwall area!

Both of the routes look nice, but I'll hold off until nearer the time to make a decision. I was about to go off on a "that's too expensive" mini-rant, but having seen that you get the festival pass as a part of the entry, then it might be worth making a family weekend of it!

Are those prices for the triathlon "normal"? That seems awfully expensive...

dunno, i was thinking of entering a team relay tri with me dong the cycling leg but dont know any really strong swimmers yet down here! however the 20% discount does make it look more reasonable.
