Pedalling fast to go Nowhere !

I've not really got the time just now for proper rides so my mileage has been restricted to sub 300miles. So in the meantime I've hopped on the turbo for the odd 5-10 minute sessions. I find sitting and spinning (too boring!) so I usually go for a sprint so far I've recorded 57.4mph and got forward a whole 4 inches :-) I'm just wondering what other folk do?

I record cycle events when I see them on iplayer and watch them while turboing. The Track Cycling World Cup was great for that

My turbo sessions generally involve opening the cupboard, looking at the turbo, then closing it again. Then wandering into the kitchen to see if there's anything nice in the fridge.

i don`t turbo,i`ve got a good quality exercise bike in the shed, when the family get too wild i retire to the shed and put last years Tour de France on it`s available on You tube, all stages as shown on ITV4...........and i cycle till the laptop battery runs out.......not as good as a proper ride but i don`t enjoy riding alone on cold winter days......

I like this idea too. Today I turboed to the first three stages of the Giro di Sardegna: someone out there (lost the link now, gah) has a youtube "playlist" with the finishes of of every stage

I've got a laptop with family guy and some other mindless stuff if I'm on for an hour, or just high tempo music for blasts.

Turbos need a programme to be effective.

You could try the murderous sufferfest videos.
