I fail to understand the reasoning.
The ride's a success, more people ride bikes and take part every year, it seems.
It has had positive effects.
Okay, so quit.
Now, someone else, in order to get the same thing done, will have to organize a whole new ride.
Start over from square one.
I suppose that makes it a process of renewal, if that happens.
