It looks from the hole patterns that those shoes will take the 3 hole spd-sl cleats and more importantly for you,the two screw spd cleat.
Double check with wiggle before you buy.
I have those pedals on my commuter hybrid. Excellent pedals!

hi dave, I have the same shoes and they are fine for the spd pedals you are looking at. I started with the spd but then changed to spd sl as I feel they are better with the shoes. you might be better looking at the mtb version of the shoes from wiggle. I think they are the same price

I thought the mtb shoes would be the best match with the pedals however I'm being vain and want the road ones as they look better

Just waiting to hear back from Wiggle. Then all I have to do is figure out how to fit new pedals!!

if I'm honest that was the same reason I bought vthe shoes, it makes them a bit more unstable to walk on but found you can still do it. I found that it was a bit fiddly to get the rubber pice out of solebto fit the cleats. the pedals are eady to fit.

After speaking to Wiggle I ended up going for the Shimano M324 combination pedals with the Shimano R064 road shoes as they are compatible with the SPD 2 bolt and SPD L 3 bolt

The m324's are very versatile pedals.
Like you said, they have the cleat fiitings on one side and the platform on the other. Perfect for quick trips out in your trainers whilst also good for longer SPD shoe wearing excursions.

Thanks Ewan. Managed to fit them fine, I was worried fitting the cleats as it seemed too easy but they seem ok. Had a bit of practice clipping in and out leaning against the wall. Will be trying them properly on Sunday.

I used them on my commute today and even just using the flat side seemed to improve my efficiency.

That's got to be a bit of a placebo effect but then again placebos are one of the most effective medicines out there.
