I'm not sure if this is the right page to put this article on, but as I can't see anything else, it'll have do.

Below are a few machines I've owned during the years. Sadly, all have now gone to new owners.

Fascinating to see how little the fundamental design has changed in more than a hundred years.
 
I bought my Triumph All-Steel for £12 at a market, used it for 8 years as a school/uni bike, then sold it for £12.
All steel means that the bottom bracket was not cast iron.
