I really like the gunmetal grey finish, makes the coloured bands really stand out. I had a Premiere with a pearlescent white finish which was also lovely but sadly too small for me.

Very nice. Well done! :bravo:.....How does it ride?

thanks to all above

as to the ride
went out this afternoon - only saddle i had available was the ''Korean black plastic shell 130mm '' - see pic
my bum is numb........... a new Bontrager come Pension day....

but - apart from the new Jagwire brake blocks being as much use as wet cardboard --- a good ride
so much lighter with the new alloys instead of the steel rims...even i could accelerate quicker
the 24T low Maillard cog is a bit too high around here .... prob get a 14-28
40cm wide handlebars are a great improvement over the 36mm on the Loire - i didn't realize what a diff it would make
also removed the dual levers [ aka suicide bars ] ... leaning way forward to brake was a new experience for me..

overall very pleased..................john
