Too many cuts in that clip, difficult to tell what actually went on.

watching it on eurosport earlier today , I think there was about 4 instances of him needing brakes adjusting or chain lubing etc on his way back to the group after his off, it wasn't what you would call subtle, but saying that ive seen worse where no penalty was given.
