To my eternal shame his is a name I don't know, but Simon Richardson has been knocked off his bike by a white van whilst training and is reported to be in a 'critical but stable' condition in hospital

Hope he pulls through and gets back to cycling.

I regullarily ride on Crack Hill where it happened .Apparently the driver failed to stop and has since been arrested.

At least one bit of good news.

It's not necessarily good news. A good triathlete was killed on a road near me recently and the white van man who killed him drove on, went on with his deliveries and drove back past the scene later. He was arrested but walked free from court with a fine back in May.
