Time to say a fond farewell to the 18speed hybrid I bought ten years ago to get back into cycling. It has been staggeringly reliable. Cruised the west coastline of France, been round the Forest of Dean paths, and even climbed the Kirkstone Pass.
It's got upgraded cartridge bottom bracket, bars and stem, saddle, and front chain set (trouser guard has a crack).
Chain and cassette have been renewed not many miles ago.
It's had my daughter's bike seat on a rack, and a tagalong. Just done 20 miles to Bitton and back. Good tyres 700*35 with puncture protection.
Based just north of Bristol. With functional Wellgo flat pedals and mudguards ready for the British summer. I'm 5'11" and it fits me fine.
