Pannier for carerra subway 2 mens hybrid

Hi,

could somebody recommend a cheap light pannier for subway 2 mens hybrid bike please. Anyone who can post a link to ebay or similar ill be much grateful

I've just bought a pair of these, not used them yet but they look pretty decent. They come in bigger sizes as well I think.

I've got a Tortec Tour Rack, but it's a right pain to fit. Definitely go to a shop with your bike and see if they can sort you out with one that isn't too hard to fit. What are you looking at carrying?

I have a Tortec rack and bought the £17.00 Lidl panniers last week. Simple combination, they fit, they work, and the quality seems great, sorted

Does your bike have disc brakes? My wife's Carrera needed a special pannier rack to fit, that would allow clearance for the disc calliper. It's a Topeak, I think.

I use a rack bag for day rides, audax - less wind resistance, I keep the panniers for shopping/touring.

No, it uses the frame mounts, but has wider clearance for the brakes.

Enough to go on a touring holiday!


The panniers also come with a top bag as well which is like a small suitcase in it's own right. So much so that's probably never going to get used and I'll stick to the panniers for commuting
