Looks reasonable if you can get a decent mount for it. Where it will suffer the most is in low light conditions. A quick google search suggests that it's minimum lux is 2lux. The camera I currently have is 0.01 lux min. My old archos was 1 lux minimum.

The sensor size is quite small which is why the low light ability isn't great. You could get a better system for the same price I would think. How about this for a little more money. Helmet mountable too.

Yeah, the low light was a problem I'd read about in the reviews.

The VHoldR looks great, thanks. I would probably have to bodge a bar mount for it, but its specs are pretty impressive. The thing is, it's a bit more than I want to pay at the moment (even with the Magantom discount) as I'm trying to persuade Ms O that I need a Raptobike for Xmas!

Hello there. I beleive the panasonic has a plastic tripod mount - so this may be an issue on a bike and could send the cam crashing down at some point. You will also find the screen will make a hell of a noise when riding, but if this is to be hand held via a bystander who is filming you from a sideline it would probably be ok. :birthday:
