I recently increased my riding distance from 8miles to 12 miles two days ago.My road bike has only flat rubber grips and i don't wear gloves. So from the past three day after doing about 10 miles i'm expriencing a sharp pain,no numbing, right in the center of both my palms.Any advice?

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I assume your riding a bike with a flat bar rather than a "racing " bike with curved handlbar?
If you only have one position to hold the handlebars then it can lead to these syptoms, i would buy some bar ends to give you another hand position so you can change regualry to relieve pressure.
An example below , plenty of shapes and types about..

I get some gel mitts. Indispensible if you fall off too - no shredded palms, just bruised!

I just posted re v similar on gen cycle discussions.
I raised the angle of my drop bars by about ten tedgrees and palm/wrist pain much better and definite improvement in power delivery!!!
