Pair of holes on my Canyon Endurace's carbon fork

My Canyon Endurace AL 6.0 arrived today. I noticed there was a pair of small holes on each of the inside surfaces of the carbon fork (one is pictured). Any idea what they are there for? Assumming they are meant to be there... Thanks in advance.

Just checked mine, yep. Can't be a weep hole as all sealed?

Tried some googling and one possible explanation was that it was to allow gasses to escape during the manufacturing process?

Holes aside, have you taken for a spin yet?

Not yet, waiting for the pedals. I made an amateur error and ordered the pedals too late for them to arrive at the same time. All I can do for now is gaze upon its beautiful frame

Don't they stick a 'bladder' inside and then vacuum press the outer into a mould so they need to get at least atmospheric pressure on the inside (if not positive pressure) for that to work.

Very nice Oddly enough I have been looking at a build based on SLX frame. Easton wheels and ultegra kit donated by my old Ghost bike.

My only gripe at the moment is that Canyon have messed up the bar tape a bit - whether they did a poor job or it got damaged in transit I don't know but it was like that when I got it out the box. I know it's only bar tape but still..

Although I'd be within my rights to complain, I'm not sure its worth it for that, they might say send it back or something, which would be more hassle than it's worth. Unless I can get them to give me a voucher or something
