I bought this on abay for a princely sum of £50 , it is a doner bike , the frame for me to help upgrade to a Disc bike , other parts to build an MTB for my Son with another frame,
Anyway , I was not keen on the colour at all , so got paint removed

Now it looks like this , I am very pleased with it

Here is a close up , my intention is only to put a two part laquer on it and keep the Ali colour ,

The paint was removed chemically and had some form of high pressure Vapour Blasting after , cost around £50 , so now just waiting for fork modification , the steerer tube was to short to fit this frame so Im having it extended to suit , cost , £10, then the expensive bits , the Disc Brakes , im probably going to get the TRP mech / hydraulic ones , and maybe some better shifters etc ,

Maybe I'm missing something here but where are the calipers going to be mounted?

Use Spraymax clear lacquer. Its 2 pack, once you activate the aerosol you only have a few hours to use it. Anything else will just chip and go manly.
