As you know, I am planning on respraying the front and rear forks of my new bike.

In my eyes its just plain white bike, however, it could also be a little bit off white. I have checked the Specialized website and they no longer provide paint codes etc.

I will have a better idea after washing her up later ;)

How is the best way to do this? I don't want to buy brilliant white paint and then spray it and it looks very obviously resprayed.

This pic is as it would be new....

Take some white colour charts and match them up against the bike.

Most paint on vehicles including bikes has an RAL code.

Any garage or spray shop should have the chart and be able to match the code.

I was recommended to go to them, I have emailed but no reply. I will ring on my lunch break tomorrow. Its just difficult getting the bike there is all - we don't have a rack. Could either take it on the train or borrow my parents estate....
