Serious question gents! I have been getting sporadic intense pain in my left testicle Have done around 60 miles in two days, no signs of lumps or anything anyone else experience similiar problems?

I've had genital numbness, but not pain. Does it coincide with cycling and disappear without? If so, it'd be worth adjusting your saddle. If not, it'd be worth getting it looked at by your GP.

Dont know if it coincides with cycling or not as its never happened before having a day out the saddle tommorow so mabye that will be an indicator will go to GP if it persists !

Would get it checked out by GP no matter what, testicular cancer is no joke. More likely you have squashed something and bruised one of the boys and it will just take time to heal up.

Agree 100% with going to the docs, even if just to put your mind at rest.

And don't worry about the embarrassment factor, they've seen it all before.

Probably a good idea to see the doc but I had a similar thing when I restarted cycling at the start of this year. Mine was a dull pain in the left one that came and went for a few weeks, i was never sure if it was in the testicle or just above it- foolishly ignored it but it has cleared up now.

No probable about it. See a Doctor asap and certainly by tomorrow.

It is likely to be nothing serious, but you cannot run the risk it's not.

Get to your GP, get it checked. macho bollox is what gets people past getting it sorted stage. likely to be nothing at all but a bit of a squashing but its worth getting it checked out.

Dont worry gents a trip to docs tommorow is on cards agree with most that it will likely be bruising I think work colleague had the dreaded C and had no pain at all just got bigger and bigger and I have none of those symptoms . Thanks for your concerns

I had similar about five years ago, went docs who referred me to a specialist. Had loads of scans and tests and all proved ok. The pain just seemed to disappear over time, hope your experience turns out the same
