Would welcome advice on whether the trip from Padstow to Newquay is a nice ride.

Does cycle route 32 include many busy roads?

Have never done any of the route so have absolutely no idea.

I don't know much about cycle route 32 but there's a hell of a climb whichever route you use out of padstow

Done it by car loads of times and it is extremely narrow in places. You could not get a car and bike through in many places. Plus you tend to get the boy racers in summer on that route. Having said that it is very picturesque but and its a big but there are some big hills to get over.

Hi Jimbo
If you're reasonably fit and don't mind a few climbs, the coast road from Padstow to Newquay is without doubt one of the most beautiful roads in the UK and an absolute peach to cycle. You will end up going either up or down for most of it, but the descents are worth it, some of them are a bit nasty at the bottom though, especially the one at Watergate bay.
Take a break at the National Trust Cafe at the top of Bedruthan steps, great nosh (at a price).

Just do it, you'll not regret it.
