Padding on Bib Shorts slips forward

As the title says. The padding on my bib shorts keeps going forward. How do I stop this or does it mean that the bib shorts are too big for me?

I am guessing that you have worn them to find out the pad is slipping down?

I am not sure that returning worn bibs is the done thing, especially as they are worn commando.

I wouldn't want to end up buying some part worn cycling shorts. Eew.
