padded shorts and trousers

im after getting some new padded shorts and also want some padded trousers.

i currently use aultura padded shorts and also a gel saddle cover on my road bike, can anyone recommend some with a thick pad so that i dont have to use the cover anymore?

Wiggle's brand, dhb are quite good

If that fails change your seat and get a stiff arse mate

The general rule is 'the more you ride the less your arse hurts.' A reasonable saddle - say a Charge Spoon or Madison Flux (£15-£25) is a good place to start. Tenn padded boxers (£11.99) under shorts or tights are good for 100+ mile rides. Perhaps Endura FS260's (£70-ish) if the weather is iffy.

Edit: Oh, and a liberal application of Johnson's Baby Powder around your tackle after your morning shower - whether you're intending to ride or not.
