Pad on shorts not in the right place

Am I the only one that has this issue?

I've bought a couple of pairs of padded shorts, recently and the pad just bunches around the front and between my thighs rather than on my backside, where I need it.

Your not wearing them back to front! Anyhow, I prefer bib shorts to shorts the pad stays in place better.

I find, like HLaB, that things hang together better in bibs. (But going for a pee is a chore.)

I do find some of my shorts do move forward whilst riding and i have drag them back , as said above bib shorts sort that out
I like Scott shorts , they seem to stay put
