I've done a search and have a few options but many of those suggested before ore old items not available so would like to know what people recommend from current clothing!

I'm looking for something for those early morning or late evening rides where the temperature may change from chilly to warm and vice-versa. Something light, windproof which packs up very small so it can be stashed in a jersey pocket.

Doesn't have to be waterpoof (shower proof would be a bonus), pack-ability and keeping a chilly wind out are the priorities!

I have one of these from Decathlon and, so far, I've been very impressed. They also do them in eye-wateringly bright colours, if that's your thing.

**Edit** Ah, but it appears to be out of stock mail-order, unless you want the red (which is more of an orange). Sorry.

Will keep an eye on decathlon website for restocking as don't want red!

Endura pakajak is a possibility and I will also get a discount at my LBS for that, however some reviews say it's not as lightweight as others and not as breathable. Maybe I will go and take a look

I went over there a few weeks back (although not looking for a Jacket at the time), I remember them having a lot of "Funkier" stuff, is it that?

I have one if those white see through jackets from castelli. Cost about £40. Its ok if it rains but not breatheable enough to wear all the time.

For me, riding in the mid temperatures, I would opt for a gillet and arm warmers. That offers far more flexibility and you won't boil in the bag

Is maybe a good option, I have a cheap Lidl one in the cupboard I have never used. I'm out tonight for a spin, if I remember I will shove it in my pocket and see what it's like if the temp drops...

+1 and easier to fold away when not needed.
