P -Line rear pivot

For the Brompton experts out there. Is the new P line rear pivot backward compatible to say an extra light Brommie from the pre P-Line days? Or more accurately, when the company (Brompton), stops selling the pin and bushing kits that I've recently been able to source and install.... well then what?

I’ve not heard that they will stop selling the older version, this still fits the new C Line and still available for £27
