Oxfordshire: Cyclist dies after falling into floodwater

A cyclist has died after falling into floodwater in Oxfordshire.

The man, who was in his 70s, died at the John Radcliffe Hospital after getting into difficulty on Godstow Road, Wytham, near Oxford earlier.​

That is sad RIP.

That may be a stock photo, but I wouldn't attempt to cycle through a stretch of water like that. I saw a guy cycling in the snow in the USA on TV. It is -50 out there in places. Cyclists are not invincible and need to assess the situation in order to keep safe.
