Hi

Has anyone done the Oxford to Cambridge charity ride before. I'm a bit concerned about how bad the hills are going to be. I did the London to Oxford ride back in July and one of the hills on that was a killer!

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Piece of cake. The only longish one to think about is out of Sandy, and that's more of a slope than a hill. There's a short sharp hill in one of the Claydons, and another one up from the Grand Union canal, but nothing you can't sort out by changing right down and twiddling.

[edit: this was on a tandem. Tandems don't do hills very easily.]

Hope you got on OK delphi.

I did the ride and thought the hills were not too bad. Riding time for me was 4hrs 59mins for 91.5 miles. The weather was very good and I thought marshalling was excellent.

Managed ok, had a filthy cold though so very slow. Family turned up at Northill so I stopped for a pub lunch. How lazy!

The hills weren't too bad but I heard a lot of people moaning about Great Brickhill when we got to Woburn saying 'it cannot get any worse than that'
