My Cree XM-LT6 light came with a holder and while it fits over the roadie's handlebar it wont allow me to screw it on and therefore it moves about a bit when it hits bumps etc, ive had a look on ebay but not really had much joy, can anybody recommend one?

Hope Vision 1 bracket. The cheap option is to wrap some old inner tube round the bars under the clamp. Secure in place with tape so you just take the light and bracket off, leaving the inner tube wrapped on the bar.

Sorry if it is just me....

I can't quite understand the problem - is it simply not screwing up tight enough to stop movement?

If so then (as above) a shim will solve the problem.

You will have lots of bits and pieces from soft drinks bottles to rubber mats lying around from which you can cut a strip to insert between handlebar and bracket allowing you to tighten sufficiently

Those rubber grippers with two lots of velcro work a treat. I've used a minipump rubber gripper on my helmet before to hold a torch when MTB'ing.

It does the job well.
