Overshoes

I need some as my feet get very cold and Shimano shoes are all air vents in the sole, whats best to get that cover the holes yet let my feet stay ventilated

mine cost 18 quid off wiggle i think. They are good

All you get some boots long terms. I use the rapha ones been ok so far

Is you want waterproof to, BBB Hardwear Aquashield BWS04 is the code number. High on bikes has them for £18 which is a bargain.

These are waterproof, and cover the holes..........18 quid too so they should keep me toes cosy

You need to tape up the vents on the underside of the shoes. The overshoes will not cover those. I do this every winter. It takes a couple of minutes and makes a noticeable difference, both in the wet and cold.

Bit of Blu Tack to block the vent holes. What are they for anyway? I leave them blocked all year round.

I use Shimano shoes and I came back from a ride yesterday with freezing cold feet. Spoilt my 20 mile ride really. I agree that the tops of the shoes are mostly fabric and although keeping your feet cool in the summer don't really help comfort during the winter. So a pair of overshoes went on my Santa list. Not my favourite place to shop but a good place to see what's about and compare prices - try e bay. Loads for around the £18 mark.
