Well,

I'm a relatively beginner cyclist and recently bought the Fuji Team 3.0. Just 20mins ago, I had a 30min session with my bike. I got to ~3miles distance coverage but erm as I said there were like hills back and forth. divided them to 10min fast pace intervals.
Anyway, the situation was that I basically refused to get off my bike even though my heart is pounding and I could feel it's almost at its limit... Halfway through, I took a rest and recovered for like 5-10mins... Then cycled back again, I wasnt really gasping for air, but it's almost like my ears are breathing, then on the uphill on the way back I walked like 20meters because the upslope beat me.
Then on the downhill, even though I feel exhausted I wanted to reach max speed and cycled as fast as I could, computer said around 26mph... then slowed back down to avg speed 13~15mph.

I reached back home so exhausted... moments later, I locked up in the toilet sitting in the toilet... feeling so sick and a bit confused I guess... Then I started puking. After puking though, I felt so much better it feels like I could do a round 2(well not really).

Has anyone felt this before? Is this unhealthy?

thanks for the advice

Sounds like you overdid it a little bit, I had that sort of sick feeling the first time I climbed a hard 15% hill on a bike, since then my fitness has improved but also I know what sort of pace I can sustain up a hill like that, knowing I definately can't sustain a sprint up that sort of hill, I become anaerobic, can't get enough oxygen and then feel sick! I suspect something similar happened to you.

Easy tiger!!

Yes, I think you pushed yourself a bit hard here.

Suggest going a bit steadier, at least until your base level of fitness is established. Especially when you are starting out, the best way of building fitness and improving your cycling is to cycle regularly, but to go at a very steady pace. This feels a bit strange at first, but you will soon be building up the time and distance on the bike. Gradual build up over a number of months works really well. If you then want to build you strength and pace, you will be ready to push a lot harder!

Yes, you overdid it.

Start easy and as you get fitter, increase your distance and intensity.

Your internals (lungs, heart etc) needs time to develop.

How many layers did you have on? Did you take enough water with you?

I had 2 layers, just a thin shirt, and longsleeves... Enough to keep me warm, worn shorts without leg warmers.

As for water, erm I didnt feel like dehydrated as I wasnt sweating, considering it was cold in the morning. Drank a bit at half point. Then drank a little bit on the way back, and that partly made me want to puke... but didnt until like 10mins later sitting in the toilet.

But thanks for everyone's comments
