Ok, so I'm totally knackered.

Just been to the local LBS and invested in overshoes as my toes are starting to feel the cold of late (a new sensation for me)

So, what's the secret? I spent about 15 minutes wrestling with just one, worked up a massive sweat and was actually out of breath by the time I got it on.

I cant spend 30 minutes each day putting my overshoes on, my commute is only an hour!!

......Is there a special technique for getting these on, or am I really that unfit?

lol- are they the right size?
Mine are fairly easy to pull on over the shoe, adjust for where the cleats and the back of the shoe are and then zip up- 30 mins? something is not right!

i have overshoes which velcro on the outside of the rear of the foot, v v hard to get on, it sounds easy but it is not, make sure the overshoes do up on the rear of the shoe and with a zip not velcro

They do fit perfectly...once on.... but MAN are they tough to get into.

I was advised as much by the chap in the LBS so went for some rear entry with easy zipper access (trying not to think about how wrong that sounds)

Phew...not just me then.

I guess practice will make perfect....maybe I could just sleep in them to save time in the morning!

Which ones did you get.

I got the Endura road overshoes recently, and are quite easy to get on over my Adidas shoes.

Oh dear, I must have feet with clown-like proportions then as I have the same overshoes (almost)

The Endura MTB500 (I liked the extra grip on the toes of the MTB version and as Chitty is an MTB it felt more "honest" to buy them).

NEWSFLASH.....I've just found that turning them Half inside out (ie with the toes staying in the right way), then putting in the toe and kinda "rolling" the shoe on, is a little easier.

Ian, you cant go out with only one on, you'll be riding around in huge circles, you wont get anywhere!!

I also fall comically into the clown category

I recently got measured up for a bike in a shop, and after measuring my height, arm and leg length etc. they measured my feet. Their computer gave an audible alert.

The sheepish assistant then said "the computer says you have abnormally large feet".

As I've been living with them for all of my life, I didn't need a computer to tell me the obvious
