We live in a Crescent,and we have a bit of woodland each.On this wonderful morning here in Meanwood I thought you might like to see our bit.Come spring it is full of so many different colours.

Magic. We once bought a wreck of a house with a tiny bit of woodland that looked dead.
We cleared out the laurel that had formed a false canopy about 20 feet up and the following spring the whole place erupted with flowers.
It must have looked just like yours.
Nature really does throw up some beauties!
Now a little story about the back garden.Which has an empty flower bed,not a flower bush or anything.We cleared out to put in a raised bed those sleeper things.So after getting down to soil only,i found out i had cancer,all work stopped.Then when i felt better father in law took ill. then son bought his first house so we helped him and then my hernia was operated on three weeks ago,So we still have bare soil much to my annoyance,i will get a flower bed sometime in 2025.
