Our first 20 miler today

It wasn't quite planned but we were supposed to cycle for 18 miles today. From Struy to Cannich, on the back road and then back (after a cuppa at the cafe) on the A road. As we cycled through the village, we decided to cycle past our gates and to carry on to a neighbour's house - about 1.35 miles on and then turn and head home. This gave us a grand total of 20.09 miles and we are thrilled to bits.
Packrat gets his new bike on Thursday, I have to wait a couple of weeks for mine but it'll be worth it.

Thanks Bev. I really thought that you would get there first though as you seem to be storming through your personal bests.

Today the sun was shining and we were feeling good so the extra 2 1/2 miles required seemed like a good idea at the time. We are still thrilled skinny about the ride. Our next long ride is planned for Thursday and that is 20.7 miles, we think.
