Working on the n+1 theory I acquired a new (to me) bike earlier in the week. It is a Specialized Sirrus Sport and is to complement my MTB and Road bike, well that's how I sold it to myself anyway. Something to use to cycle to the pub on in the summer and a winter hack.
Anyway, I took it out for it's first ride today, a short 18 miles and I am now aching in places that I didn't know I could ache in.
The tops of my thighs hurt, just under my arse also my back is starting to tighten up a little - I am sitting on my massage chair as I type!
I realised that while I was out that the saddle needed to go back a little for a better riding position, but hadn't expected all this / didn't get this with my other steads.
Is this to be expected with a new geometry for my body to learn and will moving the saddle a little cure all my woes or am I likely to expect this a bit more in the future.
Thoughts, tips and advice gratefully received and welcomed.
