If you are undoing pedals, be becarefull not to rub your arm along the teeth on the chainwheel.

Put your chain on the outer chainring and that will avoid such painful encounters.

Thing is, I had only just changed the pedals so a mate could try some SPDs. I didnt really nip them up too tight as I knew they would be coming off in a minute. I was just thinking "Hmmm, these are tighter than expected" when spanner span round... ouch!
