Fantastic news for the cycle industry,however,the bit about sick time from work has just been ruined by me taking 6 weeks off due to an accident on my bike,mind you the rest of me ,apart from my broken arm feels really healthy.

I know where you are coming from. I had an excellent sickness record until I had 5 weeks off sick for a shoulder op, cause was an inatentive driver. Ah well. My boss does think I should pack in cycling though.

I'm slightly dubious about the sickness record, looks like it could be a correlation/causation mix-up. Hopefully the increased volume of bike sales will translate into lower unit prices. Or has it already?
