I thought this was a very useful feature on the old forum. I hope it is on Shaun's huge list of tweaks.

Same here - especially to see if a topic with a joke heading is worth reading or not. I think this has come up already as one of the tweaks needed, though.

The other 'old' feature I'd like back is the lightening of read/non-updated topic subject text. The bike symbol does this now on the far left of the topic list but it doesn't give the same 'at a glance' feel when you check a forum.

When you move the mouse over a topic if you look on the right side of the topic column there's an icon with an up arrow on it, if you click on that you get a preview of the first & last posts which is much better imo.

Thanks - very useful. On my screen, that works out as WAY over on the right - I wonder if it can go closer to the topic header?
