its some races they organise in a quarry near Bacup (lancs).

dates are 5th june , 24th july , 21 august and 2nd october...

That'll be Lee quarry. I used to drive my Landy around there before they sanitised it.

yeah, believe it is,, apparently the council used the money the quarry company has to give to the locals in order to revamp it..
